PERSONAL MEMORIES
In April 2001 I was given the job of collecting the Stolp Starduster T00 SA300 G-UINN from LANDS END airport (CORNWALL) to CHARTERHALL. Possibly the longest distance aircraft move I made within the UK? Everything went well until the last few miles, when, because of the incredibly rough roads in this region and the undercarriage being of an oleo type, I had to keep stopping to check and tighten the restraining straps.
