Church Hill

CHURCH HILL: Military Landing Ground

Military user:  RAF, later British Army?

43 OTU  [Operational Training Unit]     (Austers)

Location: Salisbury Plain

NOTES: It is impossible to provide a map for this location as three 'Church Hill' positions come up in this area. However, if anybody can kindly offer advice on the location of this LG, this will be much appreciated.

All this is doubly frustrating as I have since found a record of an accident to the Taylorcraft Auster AOP.5, TJ512, on the 27th February 1947 in which it was written off.
