The local view was sent by Mr Graham Frost. The local area and area views are from my Google Earth© derived database.

Location:  Just W of the A530, about 1.25nm SSW of Nantwich town centre

Period of operation:  From 2025 it seems?

Runway:  N/E to S/W   grass

NOTES:   We have Mr Graham Frost, a long term friend of this 'Guide', to thank for pointing out this location. This strip was so new that by August 2025 my version of Google Earth had yet to catch up. So, I couldn't put the ruler on to obtain the runway length.

It appears to be the base for the Aeroprakt A-22 Foxbat, G-OHAK (ex G-CHAD). This is a type I very much like the look of, but never had a chance to fly when I retired in 2015. I am, or was, well acquainted with the type as I moved one from central Spain to mid-Wales after it had been damaged by a freak tornado which lifted up a large marquee, then dumped it on the Foxbat!
