NOTES: The existence of this location comes from the AAIB report EW/G2014/08/06. This is, without any doubt, the same location as BALADO BRIDGE (see seperate entry). I had noted in 2011 an AAIB report, EW/G2011/02/08 refers to an accident at ‘Balado Park Airfield’. The report states that runway 07/25 was in use, but, is this the only runway used? Can anybody throw more light on the details and location of this site?

A bit more research shows that it appears that only one runway is used, now 06/24, and this I strongly suspect is a grass area, more or less parallel to the northern section of runway 03/21 from WW2? However, the Google Earth pictures portray a different aspect.
