Location: Just S of the A2 Killowen Road, about 0.75n SSE of Killowen village, and roughly 2.5nm SE of Rostrevor
Period of operation: ?
NOTES: The reason for listing this site is simply because it is one of very few private helicopter 'helipads' I have found in Northern Ireland. Possibly a legacy of 'The Troubles' I suppose?
If anybody can kindly provide more information, and indeed advice on the probable number of similar sites in Northern Ireland, this will be most welcome.
