BALLYLIFFAN: Airship Station
Military user: RAF (Sub-station to RAF LUCE BAY)
Location: Ballyliffan village is east of the R238 and roughly NE of Clonmany
Period of operation: 1918?
NOTES: It seems that this airship sub-station was under construction for the RAF in 1918. Was it completed and saw active service?
This location is now of course situated in the NW part of the Republic of Ireland.
