Location: Just N of Benwick village, about 5.5nm SW of March town centre and about 4.5nm NW of Chatteris town centre

Period of operation:  To date unknown


Runway:  2003 =   16/34   625   grass            2006 =   16/34   1170   grass


NOTES:  The purpose of this 'Guide' is simply to record the location of flying sites within the U.K.

Although of course it is desirable to add as much detail as possible, this is not the main aim.

This location is rather interesting in that it mostly appears to have been used by light aircraft up to twin engine types. The picture above seems to indicate the strip might still well have been used until 2018? Possibly longer?



If anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be much appreciated.
