Location:  Roughly 8.5nm ENE of Penrith town centre

Period of operation:  1930s only?



NOTES:  We have Mr Paul Tolson to thank for pointing out this location, and mentioning that in 1939 during a visit being held here by the Newcastle Gliding Club, that Mr Noel McClean in a Grunau Baby, attained the UK height record of 10.540ft.
