Location:  In Batch which is not even a village, W of the A370, just SW of Bleadon village, and about 3.5nm SSE of Weston-super-Mare town centre

Period of operation:  1990s (?) to -

Runway:  2009=     08/26   315   grass                Later:  08/26   450   grass

NOTES:  As said above, this airstrip is also known as LYMPSHAM - which seems odd as the village of Bleadon is much closer and a much more obvious choice. And, only half the distance away. The easily defined runway appears around 2009 when the airstrip was lengthened and two more hangars appear at the western end.

If anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be much appreciated. Airstrips such as this are very much part and parcel of the amazing aviation heritage we have in this country.
