Bathgate
BATHGATE: Temporary aerodrome?
NOTES: Venue on the 10th July 1933 for Sir Alan Cobham’s No.2 Tour. Bathgate is of course just N of the M8 today, roughly 20nm WSW of Edinburgh city centre, but does anybody now know the exact location they used?
The first visit was presumably a great success as they returned to BATHGATE on their way back from more northern venues in Scotland on the 21st July.
