Location: About 2nm SE of Cranleigh town centre, about 7.5nm SE to SSE of Guildford city centre

Runway: 09/27 1080 grass
NOTES: It appears that the Sportcruiser G-CRUL was based here in 2009. On the Google Earth 2013 image, two aircraft can be seen on the apron in front of the hangar. One being a Vans side-by-side design.
It might be that the site is haunted as apparently the Park was once owned by Sir Thomas Moore whose pickled head is buried in a jar. And of course no 'Guide' to British flying sites would be complete without a few ghost stories.

This comment was written on: 2018-04-03 19:40:27Hi Dick, Baynards is still active (when it isn't flooded or covered in sheep!). The 2 aircraft on Google Earth are Sportcruiser G-CRUI and my Fairtravel Linnet (British-built Emeraude) G-ASZR.
