NOTES:
For quite a time I was quite confused as the information regarding BELLARENA seemed contradictory.

In January 2017 I was kindly contacted by Peter Vercruijsee who has explained why this is: "...for some reason the gliding club moved from one location to the other. Maybe they got a better deal with a farmer for the land, or the new one is better drainaged, or whatever. As the old one was closed at the same time that they moved to the new one, and they are both close to Bellarena, a different name was apparently not needed. Some other websites name them Bellarena 1 and Bellarena 2."

Also, which is most useful, Peter sent me the coordinates for the old airfield:  55.13024N  006.97402W   He also informed me that the original airfield opened in April 1978.

As mentioned many times in this 'Guide' I am both indebted and very grateful to all those kind and generous people who offer advice and information, making this 'Guide' so much more worthwhile.
