Aerial view
Aerial view

Note: This picture (2018) was obtained from Google Earth ©

Location: Just SW  of North Boarhunt on the B2177, about 1.5nm N of junction 11 on the M27, about 2nm NNE of Fareham town centre

Period of operation: 1984 to -

Runway: 11/29    800    grass
Note: A look at Google Earth, with a picture dated 2016, showed the runway as being 690 metres long, and no evidence of any previous extension.

NOTES:  Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide', has pointed out that the Taylorcraft Auster 4, G-AJXV (ex NJ695), has been based here since 2020. It was once exported to France, 15.08.50. as F-BEEJ, but restored to the British register 18.10.74. I have also found it being listed as a Taylorcraft Auster 5, but believe Auster 4 is correct.
