Bilton

Note: This map only shows the postion of Bilton village within the UK. If anybody can kindly provide a more exact location for this airstrip, this advice will be most welcome.

BILTON: Private airstrip

Operated by:  Mr Neville Medforth

Location: In near Bilton village which is roughly 7nm NE of Kingston upon Hull city centre

NOTES: It appears that Mr Medforth was one of the founder members of the East Yorkshire Aero Company that set about establishing the aerodrome at PAULL in 1967/68. Prior to this he had presumably operated his de Havilland DH82A Tiger Moth G-ANEJ, which he acquired in 1957, from this strip?
