Location: Just NE of Binsoe village which is just N of the A6108 and S of the B6267 placing the Landing Ground roughly 6.5nm NW of Ripon
Period of operation: 1916 to 1919
Site area: 35 acres 347 x 366
NOTES: It really does need to be thought about today - what on earth was this airfield supposed to be defending? If anybody can explain, this advice will be most welcome. It appears they saw no action whatsoever, and who can be surprised?
Compared to flying on the Western Front this was obviously a very safe posting - but how tedious must it have been.
