BIRDBROOK HALL: Private airstrip?

Location: S of the B1054, just N of Birdbrook village and about 3nm SE of Haverhill town centre
Period of operation: April to Sepember 1955? Only?
Runway: Perhaps ? 18/36 770 grass
NOTES: We have Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide', to thank for providing this information. One of the main purposes of this 'Guide' is to ask questions regarding possible flying sites - if enough evidence appears to warrant this. Always bearing in mind that it is all to easy to add 2+2 and arrive at 5.
In this case the de Havilland DH89A Dragon Rapide G-AHEB, (ex RL963), was registered to two owners from 02.04.55 to 30.09.55. A bad idea to leave a Dragon Rapide outside during winter months of course. Unusually, on the British Aircraft Register, a usual base was not given, and the address for one of the owners was clearly not suitable, being in Cambridge. It was then sold to France in 1957 as F-BHVQ.
But, the second owners address seems to fit the bill perfectly. So, have we found yet another flying site?
If anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be very much appreciated.
