BIRHEADSMOOR: Flying site for large model aircraft

NOTES: This site appeared on a NOTAM issued in 2004. It is worth mentioning because many large model aircraft are scaled up to half-size and therefore present at least two aspects of aviation.

Firstly they are nearly as big as the smallest manned aircraft and secondly can be a major hazard to low flying aircraft if those flying these models do not obey the rules governing the airspace within the UK. Which some do not!

An attempt to discover where this site is, or was, has failed. If anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be much appreciated.
