Location: W of A2, 3nm NNE of Ardglass, 5nm SSE of Downpatrick

Period of operation: Military: 1943 to beyond 1985?

NOTES: In 2006 Euroflight Microlight Club were offering tuition with one Thruster T300.

Reporting this as being a base only for microlight types seems a slight mistake as an AAIB report, EW/G2013/06/15 states that the Gulfstream AA-5B Tiger, G-BJAJ, took-off from here in June 2013. Any info on this airfield in recent years will be much appreciated.
