Note:  These pictures have been obtained from my Google Earth © derived database.

Location:  About 1.5nm NW of the WW1 aerodrome, about 1.5nm SSW to SW of RAF KIRTON-in-LINDSEY and roughly 7.5nm NE of Gainsborough town centre

Period of operation: Unknown? Certainly active in the 1960s and 70s

Runways:  E/W   585x65   grass          N/S   365x46   grass

Note:  The 'runway' lines I have drawn on the picture above are correct in length, but I have no idea where they were actually located. Can anybody kindly offer advice?

NOTES:  This entry has been a joint effort between myself and Graham Frost, a very good friend of this 'Guide'. Graham tells us that Blyborough Aviation had four hangars in two rows, on the site now (2022) occupied by Panelflex Martrans Trailers. Question:  Did Blyborough Aviation operate the aerodrome? At least for a period?

Graham also tells us that this aerodrome was used by Lincoln Aero Club in the 1960s, before they moved to the RAF HEMSWELL site.
