BLYTH: Military airstrip/airfield or water base?

Military user: RAF

Detachment of 281 Sqdn    (Supermarine Walrus)
 

Location: Roughly 11nm NNE of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne

Period of operation: March 1942 to June 1943 only?


NOTES: As said time and time again, thank heavens I decided to only produce a basic 'Guide' to our flying sites in the UK.
