Operated by:   Watford Wayfarers Model Aero Club

Location:  Just N of BOVINGDON airfield, (now partially disused), about 3nm WSW of Hemel Hempstead town centre

Period of operation:  Unknown?  Possibly from the 1990s? Certainly from 2006

Main runway:  2006 -  04/22   70   grass          2016-   04/22   110   grass

NOTES:  We have Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide', to thank for pointing out this location.

Clearly a model area club, which, like so many others, has increased in both popularity and facilities on offer in recent years. Hardly surprising I suppose as the range of models to be seen is quite staggering. Indeed, I reckon the largest examples can be quite favourably compared with many home-built light aircraft.

This Club can trace its roots back to 1945.
