BRENT RESERVOIR: Floatplane landing area    (Aka WELSH HARP)
 

Location: N of the A406 North Circular Road, E of West Hendon Playing Fields, SW of the A5 The Hyde and The Broadway in West Hendon

Period of operation: Almost impossible to determine? Probably during WW1 initially and possibly even up to the late 1930s?
 

Landing area: Roughly NW to SE (05/23), 1200m available for landings and take-offs


NOTES: There are only a few accounts of aircraft landing here, and any additional information will be most welcome.
