Bretton Hall Farm


Note: This map shows only my rough guess as to where this airstrip may have been. If anybody can kindly provide a more precise position, this advice will be most welcome. Also, is it possible that the ex-1930s RLG airfield may have been used? Looking at maps I think it is just possible.


BRETTON HALL FARM: Private airstrip
 

Location: On a minor road joining the A549, (now A5104?), and A55 in the 1980s. Major reconstruction of the roads in this area have now changed this situation completely since the 1980s but the village of Bretton is certainly still there and still 1.5nm ENE of Broughton of course. Is the airstrip still operating though?
 

Period of operation: 1980s only?
