NOTES: This picture, c/o A.J. Jackson was scanned from the excellent book Cornwall Aviation Company by Ted Chapman published in 1979. The caption is; "A Cornwall Engineer sitting on the front wing without safety belts and held on only by air pressure. The figure could be that of Frank Cradock of St. Austell, who was with CAC when they visited Bridgwater Air Carnival in May 1931."
The aircraft is clearly the Avro 504K G-EBIZ, the favourite of Captain Percival Philips, who led the Cornwall Aviation Company from the front, often spending months away during 'the season' giving displays and carrying passengers. Presumably this display was being flown by Capt. Philips?
