BRIDPORT: Temporary aerodrome
NOTES: Venue on the 28th August 1933 for Sir Alan Cobham’s No.2 Tour. Is it now known where this display took place?
BRIDPORT: Temporary heliport
Location: N of Bridport, just E of River Brit and ‘sandwiched’ between the river and a road and railway.
NOTES: In the early 1950s BEA set up an ‘experimental service' in this region. If anybody can kindly provide more information, this will be much appreciated.
