BROYLE END: Private airstrip
Location: Just N of Broyle Side village on the B2192, roughly 4nm NE of Lewes town centre
Runway: 10/28 380 grass
NOTES: In the AAIB report EW/G2014/08/11 a mention is made of an airstrip near Lewes which also has a runway orientated 10/28, but the runway length is given as 505 metres. In a look on Google Earth (image 2015) the 380 metre runway is still clearly visible. But was it still being used? If anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be most welcome.
