Note:  The first picture was obtained from Google Earth ©, the second from my Google Earth © derived database.

Location:  Just N of the B385, roughly 1nm NW of Buchlyvie village on the A811 and about 15nm W of Stirling city centre

Period of operation:  Quite recent (in 2022). No sign of it in 2017

Runway:  13/31   470   grass

NOTES:  We have Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide' to thank for pointing out this location. There is no obvious sign of a hangar so presumably the strip is just for the use of visitors?

The name 'BUCHLYVIE' has been applied because we don't know the actual name of the site. If anybody can kindly offer advice and information, this will be much appreciated.

EXTRA INFO
In May 2026 Graham Frost kindly contacted me again to say that the Vans RV10 G-PGDG (ex N620RV) has been based here since the 5th August 2025. Also, as the address of the owner is EASTER KEPDOWRIE, this may well be the correct name for the airstrip?
