BURNAGE: Civil Landing Ground

Operated by: Local aeroplane constructors during WW1


Location: Sandwiched between the A34 & A6, about 3nm SE of Manchester city centre

Period of operation: WW1: 1914 to 1918


NOTES: I am fairly certain I once made notes regarding this location - but they seem to have disappeared. If anybody can kindly give advice on this it will be most welcome.
