Note: This map only gives a rough indication of where this airstrip might have been. If anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be much appreciated.

BURSLEDON: Private airstrip?

Period of operation: At some time during the 1950s to 1970s perhaps?

NOTES: It has been reported that an airstrip was operating in/near Bursledon adjacent to the junction of Hamble Lane and Hound Road which is roughly 4nm ESE of Southampton city centre.
