BYERMOOR FARM: Private airfield (Aka WHICKHAM)
Note: It is just a 'thing' I have, but if a private site has two or more runways, I reckon it needs 'airfield' status. After all, it cannot possibly be described as an airstrip - singular.

Location: Just NNW of Byermoor, about a mile or so NE of Burnopfield village, and roughly 5.5nm SW of Newcastle city centre
Period of operation: Hard to say. I can find no evidence of it existing in 2002, and by 2015 it appears to be dis-used?
Runways: Initially 14/32 385 grass
2012: 14/32 385 grass 04/22 315 grass
NOTES: This is a very interesting example of a private airstrip/airfield which only existed for a few years. There are many more in this 'Guide'.
