My late father did some of his training during WW2. It was with No 10 radio school, in September and October 1943. The training was in Oxfords and Ansons prior to him moving on to a Catalina OTU at Killadeas. Cheriton would have been one of the few training bases that he could fairly easily nip home to his family in Llanelli. I do not think I have identified photos of the unit or station in his collection.
