Location: 1nm SW of Monewden, roughly 4.5nm SW of Framlingham, 9nm NNE of Ipswich

Period of operation: 1970s to -
 

Runway: 1992: 04/22   500x22   grass

2001: 04/22   800x20   grass

2007:  03/21   985   grass          13/31   400   grass
Note: It appears that runway 03/21 was extended to 985 metres only briefly, in or around 2007. Did they have a twin based here perhaps?

2017:  03/21   785   grass        13/31   400   grass

 

NOTES: In the mid 1970s it seems five aircraft were based here; Ercoupe 415D G-AVTT, Nipper T.66 Srs.3 G-AWLS, Robin DR.300-125 G-AZJN of Wright Farms Eggs Ltd, Jodel D.117 G-BBAR and Piper J-3C-65 Cub G-BCNX of N J R Empson & ptnrs.
