NOTES: Without any doubt whatsover, deciding to produce this 'Guide' is so often a very humbling exercise. For example, many people now regard me as being an 'expert' on the subject - and if only that was the case. But, as once pointed out to me, the definition of any 'expert' was that 'X' is the unknown factor, and a spurt is a drip under pressure!

When coming across COLEMAN GREEN in my notes, to list it in this 'Guide' meant nothing to me whatsover - "Never 'eard of it, mate". And, don't forget, I had flown around this region of the UK for some twenty years or more. But obviously not across this particular part of it - or at least I didn't spot it.

Nevertheless, being a pedantic old sod, I decided to look to see if any sign of it still appeared on Google Earth. Fat chance I thought if listed in 1970. Imagine my surprise to find a Google Earth image (dated 2016) which not only showed the airstrip, but three aircraft parked outside. And, by the looks of it, hangarage for possibly several more?

Therefore, for the purpose of this 'Guide', if anybody can kindly offer more information about the history of this location, this will be much appreciated.
