We have Mike Holder, once again, to thank for discovering this little known location, and providing the following items to illustrate it.
Article One was published in the Edinburgh Evening News on the 19th April 1920. Article Two was published in The Aeroplane on the 21st April 1920.

NOTES: One important aspect of providing this 'Guide' is that it very often poses questions, rather than attempting to always give answers. For example, as in this case, was this aerodrome only used by the Scottish Aerial Transportation Company from April to May 1920? Having worked on this 'Guide' for over a quarter of a century, (by 2026), my gut instinct is to suspect that it was probably used by other operators? But if so, who?
If anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be much appreciated.
As an aside, producing this 'Guide' has also provided me with an education regarding so many aspects of British flying sites, which I certainly did not expect. Not least, learning about the dramatic expansion of most towns and cities after WW2. For example, having been to Edinburgh many times since around the 1970s, I had no idea how many flying sites had been used so close to the city centre. And that lesson applies throughout the U.K.
