Location: N of A365, 2nm ESE of Melksham

Period of operation: 1950s to –

Runway: 01/19   470   grass

NOTES: This strip features in AAIB report EW/G98/08/13 and probably the airstrip mentioned in AAIB report EW/G2013/04/02?

Possibly the base for Shadow Series CD G-MYOS?

Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide', has kindly pointed out that the DH82A Tiger Moth, G-ANRM (ex DF112), was based here from 1956 to 1961. A bit of extra delving reveals that G-ANRM was registered to Mr Philip J Bottle at this address from 21.10.56 until 13.05.61. We do not know if the exact same strip was used?
