Location: About 2.5nm SW of RAF Fordoun, roughly 10nm N of Montrose town centre
Period of operation: Unkown exactly? Laid out in the latter half of the first decade in the 21st century
Runway: 05/23 470 grass
NOTES: We have Mr Graham Frost to thank to pointing out this very basic airstrip, presumably used just for visiting purposes. Very much a result of the advanced technology available these days when he noticed the Ikarus C42, G-CLYJ, landing here in April 2026, using a flight tracking gizzmo.
As always, if anybody can kindly offer more advice and information, this will be most welcome.
