Location: Just N of the A325, just S of the M3 and just S of Camberley town centre
Period of operation: Not known exactly, after 2010
NOTES: We have Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide', to thank for pointing out this location. A minor aspect perhaps, but I noted that the helipad has a weight limit of 12.6 tonnes. Which means that it cannot be used by an Army Chinook which has an empty weight of around 12 tonnes. With so much Army activity in this region, should something major occur resulting in multiple serious injuries, I would have thought that such a possibility might have been taken into account.
