The first two pictures were obtained from Google Earth ©. The area view is from my Google Earth © derived database.

Location:  Just N of Pulham Market, about 3.5nm NW of Harleston and also about 6.5nm NE of Diss town centre

Period of operation:  Not known? But it seems after 2007 up until 2022?

Runway:  09/27   240   grass

NOTES:  We have Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide', to thank for pointing out this location, and advising me that the Aeronca 11AC Chief, G-AKVN, (ex N3742B), was registered to this address. A quick delve revealed that this was from 13.07.05 until 06.05.22 - so the airstrip here came later.

I knew that the Aeronca Chief was quite a performer, even with a 65hp donkey up front, but from a 240 meter strip? Another delve into the inter-web revealed that the performance figures, albiet brand new and at MTOW, (Maximum Take Off Weight), the distances over a 50ft obstacle are - surprising to me at least - for landing:  262 metres, and for take-off just 190 metres. So, no problem here.

As always more information, especially pictures, are very much appreciated.
