GREENHILL DOWN: Private airstrip (Aka GRAMPS HILL and LETCOMBE BASSETT)

Location: Just NW of Fawley village, about 3nm SSW of Wantage town centre and roughly 4nm NE of Lambourn town centre
Period of operation: Unknown? Certainly in the 21st century and possibly much longer?
Runway: 17/35 890 grass
NOTES: We have Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide' to thank for pointing out this location. The strip is situated very close to the border with BERKSHIRE, but I think it is probably in OXFORDSHIRE?
There are no signs I can find of a hangar, and with a runway nigh on 900 metres long, this seems to suggest it is possibly used by a fairly serious twin-engine type? As always in this 'Guide', if anybody can kindly offer advice and information, this will be much appreciated.
