HORNBY HALL: Satellite Landing Ground

Military user: 9 SLG (RAF)
 

Location: Roughly 3.5nm E of Penrith

Period of operation: March 1941 to July 1945

 

NOTES: Operated by 22 MU SILLOTH in 1940. Later 12 MU from KIRKBRIDE.
