Location: Roughly 1.5nm SE of Kirkby Stephen, and about 15nm SW of Barnard Castle

Period of operation: ?

Runway: 17/35   440   grass

NOTES:  A look at Google Earth (image date 2011) shows the runway quite clearly. However, it is hard to say if it was, or is, still in use?

It would appear that a hangar wasn't visible; unless it was reached by taxying over a narrow bridge. If this is the case it would make this airstrip most unusual and possibly unique in the UK? Any advice on this will be most welcome.
