Location:  On the S side of Wharfenden Lake, just E to SE of Frimley Green and roughly 2.75nm NE of the centre of FARNBOROUGH airport

Period of operation:  Unknown (?) but almost certainly in the 1970s

NOTES:  We have Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide', to thank for pointing out this location. Which has, over the intervening years been redeveloped beyond recognition.

He tells us that the Enstrom F-28-UK, G-BACH, was once based here. There is an element of guesswork involved, but after a delve around the records, it seems to me that this was during the ownership of G-BACH by Spear and King Ltd of Camberley. If correct they had it registered from 06.11.72 until 20.05.77. I also expect that servicing and maintainence was probably carried out by Spooner Aviation at FAIROAKS, fairly close by, as they were the UK agents for Enstrom helicopters.
