Location: E of the A1133, just NE of South Clifton and about 8.5nm W of Lincoln city centre
Period of operation: 1983 to 1987 only?
NOTES: It has always been a function of this 'Guide' to pose questions, rather than always seeking answers. Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide' has provided this query, pointing out that Mr Frank Mumford had the Auster J/1 Autocrat, G-AGXV, registered at this address from 1983 until 1987. As the first picture shows, assuming that the field sizes haven't changed, or at least not much in the last fifty years, (which is very often the case in England), it would seem quite likely, even if he didn't base the Auster here (?), that visits would have been made?
If anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be much appreciated.
