Location:  S of the A1092, just WSW of Pentlow village and about 5nm NW of Sudbury town centre

Period of operation:  1990s (?) to -

Runway:    2000 =    06/24   270   grass

                  2018 =    06/24   255   grass

Note:   Is it possible, looking at the pictures above, that at one time a shortish runway,  08/26, with a maximum run of  225 metres was sometimes used? Or was it just a taxiway?

NOTES
I have a confession to make. For around a quarter of a century I often moved aircraft around in a truck. Whilst editing and sorting the pictures above I suddenly realised I had actually been here! Fortunately I kept a log of all the aircraft I moved and sure enough, in September 2002 I had collected the wings, cowling and other parts of the Pitts S11S, G-SIIS. What a really lovely place it was too.

I then drove to WAITS FARM to load the fuselage, and the next day delivered it all to STAVERTON.
