PERRANWOOD: Private airstrip
Operated by: Mr Chris Hickling
Location: Roughly 2.5nm N of Falmouth town centre
Period of operation: Since the early 2000s?
Runway: E/W 200 grass
NOTES: In 2019 I was contacted by Mr Hickling to ask if his airstrip could be added to this 'Guide'. It appears he has had an Aviat Husky based here.
Needless to say the answer was, 'Yes, indeed'.
He told me that visits had been made by a Robinson R.22, a Eurocopter, Hughes 500, Augusta 109 and even a Westland Sea King.
Attempts to contact him have failed, but, I did find a video on You-Tube showing a Aviat Husky landing here.
