Location:  Just W of Pointon village on the B1177. About in all three cases, 8nm SSE of Sleaford town centre, 12nm ESE of Grantham town centre and 14nm SW of Boston town centre

Period of operation:  Unknown?  Possibly from the 1990s to -

Runway:  09/27   225   grass

NOTES:  We have Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide' to thank for pointing out this location.

As the pictures show, this is a very good example of how a flying site has been developed over several years. Something to be much applauded these days when so much negativity surrounds so many flying sites, including major long established aerodromes. At the risk of being 'shot down in flames' I suspect that this location is home for flex-wing microlights? The reason being that the narrow bridge over the ditch/stream, from the hangar to the runway, appears to have a low hedge along it. So therefore unsuitable for low wing modern microlight types?

As always, if anybody can kindly offer advice and information , this will be most welcome. Pictures are always much appreciated.
