Polstead
Note: This map only gives the position of Polstead village within the UK.
POLSTEAD: Private airstrip (Also known as BOXFORD)
Location: In/near and presumably W of Polstead village, about 7.5nm ESE of Sudbury town centre and equally 7.5nm N of Colchester town centre
Period of operation: 1970s only?
NOTES: In the mid 1970s it seems two aircraft were based here. The Piper PA-28R Cherokee Arrow 200B G-AZRV and AA-5 Traveller G-BBLT.
If anybody can kindly offer more advice, this will be much appreciated.
