Period of operation: Late 1920s to early 1930s?
NOTES: Records show that R.J.Bunning based his Avro 504K G-EBSM here while conducting pleasure flights in the region. The aircraft was purchased in May 1928. Because PONTYPOOL is close to the border with MONMOUTHSHIRE it is of course possible that the airfield was situated in this county.
