Operated by:   Autogyro UK

Location:  More or less in Wentnor. About 1.5nm NW of LONG MYND gliding site, 4.5nm NE of Bishop's Castle town centre and about 13nm SSW of Shrewsbury town centre

Period of operation:   2017(?) to -

Landing area:  About, E/W and slightly NW/SE    110   grass

NOTES:  I was kindly sent info about this location by Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide'. With the question, "Can an autogyro use this site?"

I had no idea, but strongly suspected that in the hands of a highly experienced pilot on the Rotorsport types, lightly laden, it would indeed be possible. But anyway, I would check out the performance data. I was very surprised to find, despite spending quite a time rummaging around on the interweb, that nothing appears to be available. Most unusual in this day and age.

Trying to apply logic, (often a mistake of course), it seems unlikely that to have a base, with a field alongside that cannot be used, does seem to lack explanation?
