PORTPATRICK:  Civil Landing Ground

NOTES: Portpatrick is on the coast roughly 5nm SW of Stranrear. The only evidence I can find of any flying activity here was when, from September to October 1924, Northern Air Lines used PORTPATRICK as a staging post on a short-lived service from AINTREE (LANCASHIRE) to MALONE in Belfast. The other staging points on this service were SOUTHPORT SANDS and BARROW (LANCASHIRE), and MARYPORT (CUMBERLAND).

Does anybody now know exactly where they landed?
